The Elbhangfestverein has to cancel the Elbhangfest 2023
In a vote held on 18 April 2023, the general meeting of the Elbhangfestverein voted against holding this year’s Elbhangfest.
Tickets or ribbons already purchased will retain their validity for the Elbhangfest 2024 or can be returned at the place of purchase in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.
Visitors who bought their tickets at the Loschwitz Christmas Market can return them to the Elbhangfest office (Fidelio-F.-Finke-Straße 7) at specified times (information coming soon). Further advance sales have been stopped for the time being.

Advance booking offices
Advance tickets are available at many shops in Dresden and the surrounding area or at all SZ-Treffpunkte and DDV locations.

SZ-Card holders receive a 1 euro discount on the fixed ticket at DDV venues.
Sparkasse customers receive a 1 euro discount on the Fest ticket at selected advance booking offices.
Twelve thousand tickets make the festival possible!
The low-priced early bird ticket for 18 euros is only available until 15 April 2023. As in the previous year, the association has to make the festival dependent on the success of this advance sale in order to have planning security: At least twelve thousand tickets must be sold by mid-April so that the festival can take place in 2023.
In case of failure, the purchase price will be refunded at the place of purchase.

Free admission and discount
Persons entitled to a discount with appropriate proof:
- Pupils, students and trainees
- FSJ, FÖJ and BuFD participants
- Pensioners
- Severely disabled persons (from 50 GdB)
Severely disabled persons who are dependent on an accompanying person according to proof also receive reduced admission. One accompanying person is admitted free of charge.
Children and young people up to the age of 18 are admitted free of charge to the Elbhangfest and to the special concerts (subject to availability).
Persons under 16 years of age are admitted to events until midnight if accompanied by their parents or with the permission of their parents and accompanied by a person responsible for their upbringing.
Admission to events until midnight is permitted for young people aged 16 and over without the accompaniment of a person with parental authority. The Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) applies.
Unless otherwise stated in the programme booklet, admission to the special concerts with the festival band is free. Please note that tickets are only available for selected events in advance and at the box office.
The Elbhangfest wristband
The Elbhangfest ticket is a tear-proof wristband. Only the closed band on the arm entitles the holder to admission. The wristband must be worn on the arm at all times according to its period of validity.
Please keep the festival ticket on your arm overnight!
